Birth Classes

Picture
Lamaze Your Way, VBAC Your Way, Labor Your Way, Cesarean You Way. Taught by Lamaze educator Sharon Muza, these classes help you prepare for birth through fun, engaging, evidence based interactive activities. My doula clients leave this class empowered and ready to have a baby!

Many types of birth classes aimed at parents having hospital or out of hospital births across Seattle. Parent trust also offers the very popular Conscious Fathering class for expectant fathers.

Exercise Classes

An excellent birth class that meets you where you're at and will get you feeling fit and confident. Perfect for both beginners and also people who have been training for years. As a massage therapist, I see the difference in people's bodies that even one session a week makes with Maura Shirey. I highly recommend this class. She also offers a getting back to fitness postpartum drop in class where you can also bring your baby.

Excellent prenatal yoga classes taught by the highly knowledgable Colette Crawford.

Lactation Consultant

Catherine Fenner has worked with many of my birth doula clients to help them begin their infant feeding journeys. A highly skilled lactation consultant, she is professional, evidence based and nurturing. As well as providing in-home or in-office support after baby is born, she also offers a private prenatal consultation where you can discuss any concerns you have and she can help you make a feeding plan unique to your infant and your body.
